Even tech-savvy young downloaders still like their DVD, according to a new study from Knowledge Networks.
The online poll found that 37% of consumers between age 13 and 29, or "Generation Y," download video content from the Web, compared to 18% of consumers 30-43 (Generation X) and 11% of consumers 44-54 (young Baby Boomers).
But 67% of these same Gen Y downloaders still buy and rent DVDs on a monthly basis, roughly the same as Gen X (71% buy, 65% rent) and significantly more than boomers (55% buy, 44% rent)
